Team Vitamin Sea Too Holds On To Top Spot In The 2009-2010 Sailfish Pro Series

Holding on to the top spot in the Sailfish Pro Series standings is team Vitamin Sea Too who took first place and a total of $108,995.00 in winnings at the Sailfish Open.

Clearwater, Fla. (January 18, 2010) – The 2009-2010 Sailfish Pro Series has concluded its second tournament with the 2010 Sailfish Open last weekend at the Hawks Cay Resort & Marina in Duck Key, FL.

Holding on to the top spot in the Sailfish Pro Series standings is team Vitamin Sea Too who took first place and a total of $108,995.00 in winnings at the Sailfish Open. Team Vitamin Sea Too, owned and captained by Tim Maddock, released eleven sails during the tournament, which secured their place in the series standings with 212 total points.

“The Sailfish Pro Series is a professional fishing platform for these guys to show the angling world what they’re all about”, said Chris King, Chairman of Executive Adventures. “The teams registered for the Sailfish Pro Series are the most competitive in all of sport fishing.”

Following team Vitamin Sea Too in second place for the series with 159 total points is team Sandman, owned by Sandra MacMillan and captained by Neil Orange, Jr., Behind team Sandman by one point in third place for the series with 158 total points is team Get Lit, owned by Christopher “Kitt” Toomey and captained by Quinton “Q”  Dieterle.

Team rankings following team Get Lit are as follows: fourth place is team De~Bait~Able, fifth place is team Qualifier, sixth place is team Wet Dream, seventh place is team Rock Star, eighth place is team Advanced Roofing, ninth place is Team American, tenth place is Team SeaHunter, eleventh place is team Tagline, twelfth place is team Close Call and
thirteenth place is team Rude Awakening.

The Sailfish Pro Series is a professional sailfishing association bringing together the best-of-the-best in a season-long fight to determine the most competitive, most consistent and ultimate champions of tournament fishing. A fleet of 13 teams compete for the title of Sailfish Pro Series Champion and a $100,000 first-place payout. The series includes five regular-season tournaments. The top teams will then advance to a post season fish-off open only to Sailfish Pro Series association members. The regular season will conclude with the World Sailfish Championship out of Key West, FL, in April.
