Eric Shelby is a singer/songwriter from Boston, Massachusetts. He began playing guitar in high school and later developed an interest in writing songs. After graduating from Arizona State University, Eric moved back to Boston and got a job at a real estate firm downtown.

Showing apartments by day and writing by night, he hashed through material that would eventually come to light on his debut album Tape Deck Train Wreck, released in the winter of 2009.
