PinBud.com launches beta in Canada

Jan. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- CALGARY, Alberta, Canada (January 4, 2010) – PinBud International Limited (http://www.pinbud.com), a Calgary based private start-up company, has launched the beta version of its website.

PinBud.com is the latest online marketplace for services enabling users to find, research, and compare business listings in their area, rate service providers, write reviews, and contact multiple businesses using a single online service request form, which is a first, innovative approach in the industry. A user of PinBud.com will save time and money on a wide range of household, automotive, and professional services. A large variety of services is available, from home contractors and car mechanics to accountants, dentists, and lawyers. However, only business members that have signed up for the mass email function will be accessible using the online form.

PinBud.com is completely free for users seeking services. Businesses pay a low cost annual membership fee or have the option of a free basic listing. Several membership packages are available; for example, the enhanced listing which includes publishing of portfolios. But the most powerful feature is to be added to the mass email listing on the user’s service request form. The Gold Pack, a complete package, is available as a two months free trial and that period will only start when the commercial version will be launched in the provider’s geographical area.

PinBud Co-Founder Christian Bujor said, “PinBud.com is the best online local search engine for services. We do not screen service providers. Nor do we recommend any particular business or company; the users do that - or not - in reviews based on their personal, un-biased experiences. We are not involved in any negotiations between users and providers other than to bring them together on our website. We do not charge any transaction fees, percentages, or pay-per-lead fees. All business account holders, with the exception of the ones subscribing to the Basic package, pay only for listing and advertising on our website and Advantage or Gold Pack members have unlimited access to service requests. However, we do not guarantee any minimum number of requests in a membership year. We do not add a provider to a service request list; the user does.”

While the beta application is running, waiting for the commercial version, Canadian businesses are welcome to sign up and try the Gold package for free. Individual users are also encouraged to open personal accounts and start using the service. However, everybody should try to be patient while the PinBud team works on adding business members and attracting user traffic to the website.

The commercial version is expected to be launched in Canada in February or March 2010, followed shortly by the US version in the summer and the European version by the end of 2010.
