Kevin Burton McGuire signs copies of his new book, Fire Gazer: Arson at the Wolfe House, a dramatic fictional account of events leading up to the burning of Thomas Wolfe's boyhood home in Asheville, North Carolina.

Jan. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- Reminiscing Books is pleased to announce that author Kevin Burton McGuire will appear at Barnes and Noble in the Asheville Mall, Asheville, North Carolina, 7pm, January 27, 2010 to discuss and sign his new book Fire Gazer - Arson at the Wolfe House.

In Fire Gazer, Mr. McGuire has given us a dramatic fictional account of events leading up to the 1988 fire at the Thomas Wolfe Memorial, and offers possible answers to the question, “Who, and why, would someone intentionally burn such an historic treasure?”

"...an intriguing glimpse at the seedy underbelly of Asheville .... A quick, entertaining read, Fire Gazer would complement any Wolfe, Asheville history, or haunted Asheville collection."
Julia Nunnally Duncan - author, Drops of the Night and When Day is Done
