Grand Rapids-February Bridal Show-Chocolate Wedding Dress premiere, DeVos Place

Spring and summer weddings are not far away and everything you need to plan yours will be on display at the West Michigan Wedding Association February Bridal Show, co-sponsored by WZZM Tv13 and 105.3 HotFM.

The West Michigan Wedding Association's Bridal Show takes place on the 19th and 20th of February at the DeVos Place, downtown, Grand Rapids.  The show is open to brides and guests from 5pm to 9pm on Friday and 10am to 4pm on Saturday. Tickets are $6.00 at the door.  "This Bridal Show is the perfect place to plan your wedding, with every vendor imaginable for the bride to see from catering to limo services and everything in between".

Our bridal show is going to be our most elegant bridal show yet.  It will take place in the beautiful ballrooms of the downtown DeVos Place and our fashion shows will give you a beautiful view of the Grand River as their background.  

Take a seat and relax at one of our three Fashion Shows.  These fashion shows will take place at 7pm on Friday and Saturday at 12pm and 2pm.  The shows will feature fashionable wedding dresses, as well as, bridesmaid and flower girl dresses from Fantastic Finds Bridal Shop. Male models and formal wear will be provided by Afendoulis Cleaners & Tuxedos.  Events by I Candy will be providing stage decorations and Sound Productions will be doing fashion show light and sound.

At the Saturday 2pm fashion show we will be featuring a chocolate bridal gown made by MiraBella Confections.  This beautiful and intricate work of art is a knee length modern design.  The dress will be a blend of the finest white chocolate and will include layer upon layer of leathery chocolate cults and molded bodice pieces.  Our model bride will carry a bouquet of handmade long-stemmed chocolate roses and wear shoes adorned with chocolate brooches.  To ‘top’ everything off:  a beautiful fondant crown-trimmed in hand piped chocolate scrollwork and brimming with Swarosvki crystals.
To thank the audience for attending. MiraBella Confections with be providing complimentary chocolate-covered cheesecake pops rolled in roasted walnuts and pecans or our crushed Health bar version which is equally delicious!  There has never been a dress to compare to the one MiraBella Confections is preparing for this event.  Don’t Miss it!

Here are some helpful hints for attending the Bridal Show:
• Pre-register at wmbridalshow.com. You can bypass long lines at registration and find online coupons for the show. Vendors use pre-registrations as a lead list for offering specials after the show — another way to save money on your wedding.
• Set up an e-mail address specifically for the wedding. Using this e-mail address at the show prevents spam following the wedding.
• Pick up a bag on the way in to collect information and coupons. Take time to speak with vendors and ask questions. Write responses and impressions on the vendor’s brochure.
• Make a day of it. Wear comfortable shoes, watch the fashion show and have lunch.
 • Bring parents, bridesmaids and the groom, all of whom will appreciate the opportunity to add their input. Bring along your checkbook or credit card as many vendors offer day-of-the-show specials.
