Support Group for Novelists in London

A course for first-time novelists runs from March - July 2010

Jan. 12, 2010 - PRLog -- THE NOVELISTS' CLUB is a course intended for people who are already working on a novel and who would like informed feedback, or perhaps help with a particular problem in a supportive environment. The first workshop will concentrate on structure so it’s important that you can come up with an outline in advance. The course starts with a one-day workshop on 27th March, with three half-day follow-ups on May 1, June 5 & July 10.

Limited to 6 participants – only 2 places left. The total cost is £230, which includes lunch at the first workshop. E-mail  for details of how to book.

WORKSHOP LEADER: Vicky Grut’s awards for short fiction include the Asham and Ian St James prizes in 1999 and the Chapter One International Short Story prize in 2006, and the Asham again in 2009. Her stories have appeared in magazines and collections including Random Factor (Pulp Books, 1997), Reshape Whilst Damp (Serpent’s Tail, 2000), Valentine’s Day: Stories of Revenge (Duckworth, 2000), two volumes of the British Council anthology New Writing: 13 (Picador 2005) and 14 (Granta, 2006), and Waving at the Gardener (Bloomsbury, 2009).
