By: Ora Academy This year’s Groskin Memorial Lecture is a first for Ora’s new headmaster Rabbi Eliezer Lehrer who joined the Girls High School this past summer. Rabbi Lehrer who nowadays leads the recruitment campaign for the 2010-11 academic year believes the dinner will be a great success. “Bringing in Rabbi Weinreb is Baruch Hashem a great privilege for Ora. We are grateful to be able to hear such a great educational scholar” he said. The dinner’s proceedings benefit present and future students through various scholarship opportunities under the memorial fund for Aviva Groskin A”h. The lecture, which is open to the community, will take place at 8 p.m Monday, January 25, 2010 at Congregation Beth Hakneses Hachodosh. Rabbi Dr. Tzvi Hersh Weinreb - is a talented teacher, writer, and lecturer. Prior to his assuming the position of Executive Vice President of the OU, Rabbi Weinreb served as the rabbi of Congregation Shomrei Emunah in Baltimore, Maryland, as Chief Psychologist of the Potomac Foundation for Mental Health, and maintained a private practice of psychotherapy.
