This year marks the 30th birthday of the Polka Children's Theatre and two old favourites are returning to help with the celebrations.

Back in 2008, Charlie and Lola took the capital, and indeed the whole country, by storm with their innocence and humour and they are set to put a smile on more faces when they return with their Best Bestest Play.

The stars of the hit BBC TV series and books by Lauren Child will come to life through a mix of puppets and music which see the 2-D and 3-D worlds come together to make a magical show.

Will Lola ever tidy her bedroom and will Charlie ever manage to get his little sister to sleep?

Mum, dad and the kids will have these questions answered in an hour and 15 minutes of side-splitting comedy which they are unlikely to forget any time soon.
