Those who suffer from panic attacks know how truly debilitating they can be. A good analogy of this is riding a roller coaster. These types of experience create turmoil in your subconscious mind.So how do you stop panic attacks naturally? Primary reason of panic attacks is subconscious mind, which does not respond to reasoning. Fear actually feeds on itself and causes the attack to become even more intense. If you want to stop panic attacks for good, confronting them head on is the most effective way. Panic Disorder is defined as having recurrent panic attacks with no environmental triggers, and persistent fear about future attacks. The more you struggle against and attempt to prevent the anxiety attack, the more fear you'll produce. But, as you go with the flow of the ride, the more enjoyable the ride becomes. All of these physical reactions are cause by anxiety and stress. Listen to the waves crashing on the shore and picture yourself having nothing to fear or worry about. They can remind you to do your breathing exercises and other distressing activities. Yet if you confront the attack head on, it gradually loses its force and energy because it has nothing to feed off. Then you attempt to get yourself in check mentally by reminding yourself that these feelings are not real, that you are having a panic attack and that it will soon pass. Another great way to stop it, is to have a partner that you can call when you feel one coming on. To put it another way, ride out the storm of an anxiety attack. Rather than fighting against the attack, allow it to come and run its course. The more you face your attacks head and come out unharmed and okay, the more you'll come to realize that your worst fears are just the product of your thoughts, not a real, clear, and present danger. Anxiety panic disorder mainly happens after fearful, disturbing experience, or from something someone said to you. This is a mental and physical exercise where you slow your own breathing by inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth. One thing you can do is practice calming yourself down. As a thumb rule, if you have three attacks within a period of three week in response to situations that are not life threatening, and which are not associated with physical exertion; you should consult your doctor.
