Senior Seminar to Offer Helpful Tips and Advice to Local Seniors

The Louisville Bar Association and Louisville Metro Police Crimes Against Seniors have teamed up to educate our local seniors by offering the Senior Seminar, a free one-hour program offering tips, advice and other information important.
 
Jan. 7, 2010 - PRLog -- The Louisville Bar Association (LBA) and Louisville Metro Police Crimes Against Seniors Unit (LMPD) are teaming up to curtail abuse and neglect of local seniors at the Senior Seminar at noon on January 21, 2010 at Holy Trinity Church located at 501 Cherrywood Rd. in St. Matthews.

This free educational program will feature a panel of speakers from the LBA and LMPD who will be answering questions, offering tips and discussing a host of important topics including abuse, fraud and exploitation, wills, powers of attorney and much more.

Literature and other take-home materials will be available and distributed to all attendees courtesy of AARP, Alzheimer’s Association, Louisville Metro Government Office for Aging & Disabled Citizens, KIPDA, ElderServe, Legal Aid Society, and many other organizations serving seniors and their caregivers.

The one-hour program is free and open to the public. Due to space restrictions, reservations are encouraged.
