Jan. 7, 2010 - PRLog -- XTM Portal is an online hub allowing customers to upload files for translation, receive a quotation, pay online, and then download the translation once completed. Guest users can then register on the system so that they can have full project manager access to XTM. This permits customers to access their projects, substantially increasing information sharing between LSP and customer.

The new estimating module provides powerful functionality to generate estimates for translation. Estimates are calculated taking into account language combinations, metrics, speed of delivery and desired workflow. The quick generation of job estimates based on pre set factors provides LSP’s with a real market advantage and XTM is the only tool on the market with such a powerful and flexible feature.

Existing users of XTM can benefit now from the new, powerful and flexible features within XTM including the estimation module. For an additional cost the XTM Portal can be incorporated in the package. Customers will gain an immediate competitive advantage by using XTM.

Bob Willans, Director of XML-INTL says “This update marks another step in the rapid development of the XTM translation suite. We are pleased to be able to offer our users a best in class web based translation system. XTM v5 includes yet more key features that are not available with any other CAT tool. 2010 is going to be a fantastic year for web based translation.”
