PRLog -- Mother and daughter will jockey for position to get on the popular tv talent show"America's Got Talent".The mother is a published poet known as Marcee Lee Winthrop who just happens to have a real passion for singing too.The daughter is known as Tammy Boyd and is 14 years old.She has a passion for singing equal to her mother. They are working on songs that they can do solo and together. Two years ago, they tried out for "America's Got Talent" in Atlanta,Georgia. They got to the 2nd round before they were bumped out----not quite enough rounds to get on tv.This time they know what to expect so they are going to be much better prepared. The two are already practicing their song choices daily. They have agreed to compete against each other ,if necessary, without hard feelings. After all,if one goes on and makes it---she will, more than likely, bring the other one up too.It would be a win-win! You can check out mother & daughter singing on Youtube:marceeleewinthrop. There is a bio:www.marceeleewinthrop.com.They are living in Gainesville,Florida. Marcee is being compared to Susan Boyle in not only talent ,but their lives seem to have several comparisons also. One thing is for sure,Marcee and Tammy have a very strong bond that people like to watch and wonder how a teenager and an adult get along so fabulously together.
