Israeli Diamond Portal Reports: Diamond and Gold Jewelry Hit the Auction Block

Jan. 3, 2010 - PRLog -- A collection of diamond rings, gold pendants, rare coins and collectible stamps will be included in an auction of unclaimed jewelry and property that the US State of Wisconsin is selling over eBay starting Monday.

The Wisconsin Treasurer's Office holds periodic eBay auctions of fine jewelry and other unclaimed property left in safety deposit boxes for over seven years. All proceeds from these auctions are held in a trust until the rightful owners can claim them – sometimes indefinitely.


According to a State Treasurer's statement, the auction is being held in order to make more room in the vault for more unclaimed property. Unclaimed jewelry and property auctions are to be held on a monthly basis.
