49ers RB Frank Gore vs. Lions run defense. The Lions have been inconsistent stopping the run this season. At times, they look good, even against good rushing teams. At other times, they can't tackle, break down and get run over. Gore is averaging 5.3 yards per carry this season. In two games against Detroit in his career, he has rushed for 289 yards and two touchdowns.
