Matt Ryan came back early from a turf-toe injury and guided the Falcons to a come-from-behind 10-7 victory over the New York Jets. Ryan passed for 152 yards on 16 of 34 passing, and took the team in for a game-winning touchdown drive. He tossed a 6-yard touchdown pass to Tony Gonzalez with 1:38 left. Ryan's foot was sore after the game and he likely will not fully participate in practice during the week. He was rusty after missing the last two games and Buffalo leads the NFL with 26 interceptions. How long can he keep playing injured? The Falcons may be eliminated from the playoffs, but they have something else to rally around. They can still achieve a winning season by taking their final two games. The players are aware the franchise has never had back-to-back winning seasons since its inception in 1966. With an almost college-like attitude, the Falcons are trying to get that scarlet letter off of the team's history books. Buffalo wide receiver Terrell Owens makes his first trip to Atlanta as a Buffalo Bill. Owens has had some eventful trips to the Georgia Dome. The one-time Atlanta resident put on quite a show the last time he was here in December 2006 as a member of the Dallas Cowboys. He got into a tussle with then Falcons cornerback DeAngelo Hall, which ended with Owens spitting on Hall. He was fined $35,000 for that incident. End
