Waterjet Manufacturer WARDJet and Partners Deliver Care Packages to 125 Local Families in Need

Dec. 22, 2009 - PRLog -- After raising nearly $4000 and successfully providing for 125 families during the 2008 holiday season, WARDJet (a waterjet manufacturer) and the Summit County Machine Shop Group have collected over $3200 this year along with 75 whole turkeys generously donated from BJ's Wholesale Club during their annual fundraiser / canned food drive. Thanks to everyone's help and participation, holiday dinners will be provided to 125 local families in need. Each package contains all you would need for a wonderful holiday meal including a whole turkey, milk, bread and other food and non-food items. The Summit County Machine Shop Group adopted the families through the help of the Akron Haven of Rest and the East Akron Community House. WARDJet opens their facility each year to the group to prepare and package the parcels, and helps to hand-deliver them each personally.
