Did you know that 97% of New Year’s Resolutions are not kept?  Don’t become another statistic!  Learn how to hold yourself accountable!
Farmington, MO - December 18, 2009
It’s on everyone’s mind around this time of year.  Everyone wants to do something different for himself in 2010, and most people make grandiose plans.
“I want to lose weight, and keep it off!” says one 27 year old mom of 3.  “I want to eat healthier and get more active, so I can enjoy the rest of my time here,” adds a great-grandpa of 82.  “My husband and I really want to pay off our debts in 2010,” said a 39 year old teacher.
Problem is, people have a hard time sticking to it.
Dr. Adam Overcast, a local wellness doctor, wants to help people change their lives for good, not just for a while.  “The biggest “trick” that is going to help you change your life forever is to take action. TAKE ACTION and you’ll see results. Get motivated and KEEP moving forward.”
There are many ways to achieve your goals for the year, with healthier eating, healthier thought patterns, quitting a bad habit, joining a support group, making new friends, (or spending more time with old ones), getting more exercise, taking a class, etc.  Resources and opportunities abound!  Another such resource, inspired by New Year’s Resolutions forever being set, then quickly set aside for other “more important” tasks, year after year, is a wellness workshop hosted by Dr. Overcast, entitled “A New Year Means… A New YOU!”  Come and share your New Year’s Resolutions and how you plan on sticking to them, ways that have helped you keep your goals in the past, and what your incremental goals are for 2010.  Call 573-756-6496 to reserve your seat, and plan on bringing a friend (accountability partner)!
Details:  “A New Year Means… A New YOU!” fun and interactive workshop held on January 5, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. at Desired Health Chiropractic, 134 West Pine, Farmington.  Light refreshments will be served.  Please RSVP to Jennifer by January 4, 2010, or call with any questions to 756-6496.
