Dec. 18, 2009 - PRLog -- www.SacramentoBill.com reports Elk Grove, CA home prices on the rise.  After years of falling home prices, we are seeing the market turn, somewhat dramatically, in Elk Grove, California.  Elk Grove was considered one of the Country's fastest growing small cities in 2003 and 2004 with an extraordinary pace of new home construction.

Resale home prices skyrocketed at unprecedented levels ranging from 15% to 25% yearly during this period.  And while it's easy to look back now and see the foolishness of this type of growth, Elk Grove real estate lead the country in this exciting, albeit, ill conceived time in real estate history.

So for the past 4-5 years Elk Grove home values have been in  steady decline, dropping as much as 50% from their highs.  There has been a great deal of pain and many homes have been lost to this financial trauma.

So now we may have a bit of light at the end of the tunnel.  At least for the moment, prices have turned the corner and started to move up.
