New Chicago Bears fan blog launched

Dec. 18, 2009 - PRLog -- Bears Claws, an interactive fan blog devoted to coverage of pro football's charter franchise, has recently been launched.   The site will provide breaking news, analysis, discussion, and contests geared to Bears fans.

Jeff Curts, owner/founder of Bears Claws, www.bearsclaws.com, and a Bears season ticket holder, believes his site will provide a different perspective to fellow Bears fans who crave in-depth 24-7 coverage of the team.  "I think we can provide some insights not commonly found on fan blogs.  I also want to give Bears fans a forum for discussion, another vehicle to connect, and have some fun along the way."  Curts pointed out that Bears Claws is currently running a promotion to give a $25 Bears pro shop gift card to a lucky visitor and has plans to give  game tickets away next season.

Bears Claws will have updates throughout the off-season as well as coverage of free agency, the NFL draft, and OTA's/training camp.  It plans to be the one stop information source for Chicago Bears fans on the web.

Jeff Curts is a Bears season ticket holder and lifelong fan of the team. His favorite all-time Bears player is Walter Payton.

An Indiana University graduate, his "real" job is as corporate marketing manager for Central Indiana's largest financial services holding company. Jeff also writes for NFL Draft Dog and the Bleacher Report.

A member of Pro Football Researcher’s Association, he self-published "The Slant...NFL Draft Newsletter", served as a scout/evaluator for Indoor Football Scouting Bureau, and wrote press releases for the Carolina Speed of the American Indoor Football Association (AIFA).
