The Unsung Nursing Hero of Exeter

Dec. 18, 2009 - PRLog -- Business Centre Manager for the Exeter branch, Sally Hedge explained, "We really wanted to put forward Nicola Hall for this year's competition as she has given so much to the community.

Nicki is one of our RGN's and has been with us for five years now has remained professional and maintained her high standards in all her work placements for Newcross.  In fact, she is always recommending us to her friends and we have got quite a few calls over the years where people have required the support of highly trained nurses thanks to Nicki - but that's not why we think she should win.  She has always been there to help people where she can and is prepared to go way out of her comfort zone to look after patients and has also taken on work in regional prisons, despite having some reservations about the role before she started, however, in true Nicki style, she threw herself into the job and made some real fans.

These awards are so important to us - we always read about the bad things that happen in the press, so isn't it great that we can read about those who really make it all so worthwhile?"
