ACS aids ‘victims’ of cabin crew strikes

Air Charter Service helps passengers stranded by Christmas and New Year cabin crew strikes.

Dec. 17, 2009 - PRLog -- Air Charter Service is already helping passengers in order to save their Christmas getaways after British Airways cabin crew voted overwhelmingly in favour of a twelve day strike incorporating almost the entire Christmas period. The industrial action will take place from 22nd December until 2nd January.

Whilst management at the airline try to resolve the situation and hope for further negotiations, passengers are being forced to look elsewhere in order to not be left disappointed this Christmas. Air Charter Service has already received many enquiries and bookings for charter flights from passengers not wishing to wait and hope for the strike to be resolved.

Joel Fenn, Executive Jet Sales Director, said: “Within 24 hours of the announcement we had already received our first bookings from disgruntled passengers vowing that the strike would not ruin Christmas for them. Even though British Airways say that customers are able to change their flights at no charge for later dates, this offers little consolation to families hoping for a Christmas break abroad, or individuals hoping to see loved ones”.

Fenn added: “We are here to help, whether it is a direct charter or one which connects passengers with alternative scheduled service arrangements to get them to their final destinations”.

Air Charter Service operates almost 4,000 flights a year, and specialises not only in private jet charters, but also commercial airliner and cargo charters.
