Sky Factory Plants a Chestnut Orchard

Forty blight-resistant Qing and Gideon variety Chinese chestnut trees were planted on the northeast corner of Sky Factory’s 5-acre site. Next year, an acre of Dunstan chestnut trees, the premier American variety, will be added. Why plant trees? A tribe of South American Indians believes that the trees of the forest hold up the sky.
