Miami Subs Pizza & Grill Celebrates The Grand Opening Of Their Yonkers, NY Location

Dec. 12, 2009 - PRLog -- Ft Lauderdale, FL – Miami Subs Pizza & Grill is pleased to announce the grand opening of its latest NY location in Yonkers. The Yonkers Miami Subs Pizza & Grill is located at 815 Yonkers Ave.

The Grand Opening is scheduled for Friday, December 18th and Saturday December 19th.  There will be a ribbon cutting on Friday by Yonkers Mayor, Philip Amicone.  This grand opening will be a world class event including an hourly bike give away, food sampling, face painting, DJ, complimentary coupons, an appearance by the Miami Subs’ mascot Pete the flamingo and to top off the 2 day event there will be a “Community Heroes Cheesesteak-eating Contest”.

The Yonkers Miami Subs is the second unit built and opened in ‘09 as part of the previously announced 100-restaurant deal for New York.  The first franchise was opened in Queens earlier this summer and the third in Brooklyn NY is scheduled to open in January 2010.  

The Yonkers franchise is owned by Yonkers Food 1 Corp’s proprietor, Chaudhry Murtaza.   Mr. Murtaza became involved with Miami Subs after a fellow-franchisee friend turned him on to the brand.

Miami Subs Pizza & Grill is celebrated for its extensive menu, which includes Philly cheesesteaks, wings, gyros, subs, pitas, salads and pizza.  The restaurants are known for offering a “fast casual” option to its customers that separates the chain from many of its counterparts.  The Yonkers Miami Subs Pizza & Grill will also offer catering and delivery options through the MSP&G proprietary “one number, all locations” in North America 888.888.36-08 to customers in the Yonkers area.
