New Business Development Chief at OH2 International

Translation specialists appoint linguist Amy Lee to Business Development role
Dec. 10, 2009 - PRLog -- Business translation specialists OH2 International has appointed linguist Amy Lee as Business Development Manager at their Keele University headquarters.

Twenty six years old Amy, from Sandbach, who speaks fluent French and Spanish, joins the company after four years working within the chemical industry.

“Although I had intended to work in translation after graduating from university, I took up the first job I was offered,” said Amy who originally comes from Somerset. “So when I was given this opportunity with OH2 I snapped it up immediately.

“I’m now responsible for introducing the range of business translation services offered by OH2 to potential customers. Whether it’s brochure or website translation that is required, OH2 can provide a fast and efficient translation service.”

OH2 Managing Director John Bendel said: “I am delighted to welcome Amy to the team. In addition to being an accomplished linguist, she has some useful wider business experience under her belt which could be useful in her business development role.

“We are getting many inquiries from businesses wanting to have their websites translated into foreign languages as a first step into the export market,” added Mr Bendel. “As companies who export report a first year increase in revenues of 34 per cent, according to Government statistics, its not surprising more businesses want to explore that route.”
