Getting to know The High Chaparral Reunion hosted by Susan McCray Tuesday, Dec. 15 on KSAV.org

Dec. 9, 2009 - PRLog -- Since 2003 fans and artists have gathered to celebrate the ground-breaking, highly acclaimed NBC Western, The High Chaparral.

In October, 2009, Loyal fans, who have kept the beloved characters alive in their hearts and minds for over 40 years, hosted a reunion for cast, crew, guest stars and production staff. The event provided the opportunity to meet the artists who brought the Cannons, Montoyas and Bunkhouse Boys to life! Guests included Don Collier (Sam Butler), Rudy Ramos (Wind), Henry Darrow (Manolito Montoya), Ted Markland (Reno) Kent McCray, producer/production manager casting director, Susan McCray and more.

The 2009 High Chaparral event was the most thrilling reunion yet. Fans, cast, and crew returned to the ranch – Old Tucson, Arizona, where the location shots were filmed.  The original ranch house will be the site of this exciting event.  

On Tuesday, December 15, Susan McCray shares some of the festivities of the day with listeners on her show "Getting To Know You" on KSAV.org. Listeners will find out how the location was selected for the show, stories and happenings during the filming of the show, funny stories told by the cast, as well as a celebration of one of the cast member's birthday.
