About MR. LUCKY
Mr. Lucky has danced for artists such as Christina Aguilera, the Black Eyed Peas, and Missy Elliot before honing his eye and skills as a choreographer and artistic director. His work includes choreography for Macy’s Passport Fashion show, Ashanti, TUG recording artists Jhene, Mila J, and O’Ryan, the ASYM awards, Ms. Triniti, Zshatwa, Ozomatli and a national commercial for Sunny Delight just to name a few. Most recently, Mr. Lucky was selected as an onscreen choreographer and dance partner for a second season (2010)of Oxygen’s hit competition show “Dance Your Ass Off “ where weight loss and dance are combined to improve the lifestyles of overweight contestants. Mr. Lucky choreographed, taught, and performed routines in the styles such as tap, Viennese waltz, salsa, foxtrot, and hip hop which took him through the competition and landed him and his partner as contenders in the finale.
To this day, Mr. Lucky attributes his continued success to God, hard work, his mother’s support, and a driving passion to one day be the person that dancers and aspiring choreographers respect and wish to emulate. Through the memory of Aaliyah and the support of those around him, Mr. Lucky continues to be a beacon of humility and undeniable talent that maintains the belief that no job, amount of money, or self-doubt are worth the price you pay for not following your dreams.
