Rock Band Joins The Movement For A World Free Of Multiple Sclerosis

Dec. 8, 2009 - PRLog -- Maryland based rock band, vs.the earth, (www.vstheearth.com ) has announced that they will donate a portion of their merchandise sales to The National MS Society during their upcoming cross-country music tour. Starting December 31st, 2009 thirty percent of all net proceeds from merchandise sold both on any of the band’s social media sites, as well as at their live shows, will be donated to The National MS Society.

vs.the earth (VTE) will kick-off their efforts the band’s New Years Eve show at The Hyatt in Baltimore, MD. The online merchandise sales will also commence this date to also benefit The National MS Society.

VTE has been invited to play alongside bands such as Breaking Benjamin, Everclear, Fuel, and Gin Blossoms - among many. Deemed as "one of the hardest working bands in show business", VTE's schedule includes an average of 300 shows per year. VTE is a hired band who are in demand among the college, event, and club scenes. The band's social media ranks firmly relays to the media just how marketable VTE is within their diverse demographic. VTE, to date, has over 1,500 followers on Twitter, over 350,000 MySpace profile views, and over 180,000 total songs played on the band's MySpace page. The band also just finished shooting a music video, for their upcoming CD, featuring VH1 reality star, Mindy Hall.

Merchandise for vs. the earth, and benefiting The National MS Society, can be purchased at http://themerchshop.net All VTE merchandise, including brands like Ed Hardy and Allifction, are sold by vs. the earth management, and are eligible for the thirty percent of sales donation. Only vs. the earth merchandise sold at live shows will be eligible for the thirty percent of sales donation.  

vs. the earth is proud to give back to the MS Society. Their former publicist, Tanya Vece, was diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis in 2005, and recently fell out of remission. The band decided to take action and support the Society in any way possible with a goal to help find a cure through their merchandise sales.
