It exposes centuries old prejudice.  As Brad spirals further into the life of his employer, he finds that Granger is into slave operations in Northern Africa and has his own personal army and air force resources to protect his assets.  The FBI is not only looking into Granger’s business dealings, but they’re hell-bent on taking Brad down as an accessory.

Will Brad protect Granger and ensure his own new lucrative position?  Is he more like Granger than he realized, or will he re-embrace his values?  Based on many true events, Cowan takes the reader inside the seedy side of wealth.  This compelling novel will have suspense fans hooked from the first page.
