Raleigh Area Caterer Announces Dinner Menu for Christmas Charity Dinner for Hannah's Hands Mission

Dec. 8, 2009 - PRLog -- On December 20th, Sunday evening at 5pm, the staff of Catering by Design, a Raleigh area caterer, will host a five-star five course dinner in Cary, NC.

There will be two appetizers. The 1st Appetizer is Cilantro and Lime Crusted Pan Seared Scallops, and Pear and Serrano Salsa, Tequila Shallot Cream. The Salad will be Hearty Winter Greens with an Apple Tarragon Vinaigrette, Garlic Roasted Walnuts, Goat Cheese and Sundried Cherry Croustade.

For the 2nd Appetizer, Wild Mushroom Polenta will be served, along with Grilled Baby Bok Choy, Fried Black Pepper and Herb Bread. Orange and Rosemary Roasted Filet Mignon will lead the Main Course, with Port Wine Demi Glace, Apple Risotto and Baby Green Beans.

The dinner closes with Hand Rolled Chocolate Raspberry Truffles, Mini Tiramisu Cups and Seasonal Berries with Sweetened Mascarpone Cream. Wine's will be announced at the event.

The Catering by Design staff who are donating their time and any gratuities from the dinner will also be traveling to El Salvador in January on the medical mission led by Hannah's Hands. Hannah's Hands International provides care for the sick, the poor, and the fatherless through Medical Mission Outreach Teams.

The price for dinner is $55.00 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Wine tasting is included. The dinner will be held at Catering by Design's Cary office at 132 Kilmayne Dr Cary, NC. Up to seventy guests can be served.
