-- DUBAI, Dec. 7 --The global stainless/special steel markets are expected to enjoy a turn-around for 2010 because of stimulus spending by governments. However uncertainties persist, and knowing how the markets will perform is essential. CMT’s 3rd Global Stainless/Special Steel Trade Summit, which meets in Dubai on 2-3 Feb 2010, aims to provide insights on the global stainless /special steel trade dynamics for USA, Europe, Iraq, MENA, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, China and Russia/CIS.
The conference also explores upcoming trends in the stainless steel business, like the green construction and building trend in the Middle East that offers new opportunities for stainless steel producers.
3rd Global Stainless/Special Steel Trade Summit will also examine key issues in the value chain, from raw materials dynamics (Chrome, Molybdenum, Nickel and Scrap) to end use perspectives from consumers. IKEA and Franke Kitchen systems are slated to discuss their procurement strategies at the conference.
Conference panellists include key executives from JSL Limited, Thomson Creek Metals Company, CRU Strategies, IKEA, Stemcor, Ministry of Industry & Materials (Iraq), Marcegaglia SpA, Italinox Vietnam, UAE Contactors Association, Juili Group, DMCC, Franke, Ni Metals, Eti Krom and Nippon Steel.
