Carbon Advice Group Launches Innovative worldwide network to combat climate change

Dec. 5, 2009 - PRLog -- Carbon Advice Group Plc (www.carbonadvicegroup.com) has launched a unique web-based service which enables individuals and businesses to take an active role in combating climate change.

The Company has set out to create a worldwide network of “Environmental Entrepreneurs” by giving them the necessary tools, understanding and motivation for them to bring carbon emission reduction and offsetting into the mainstream and make it a vital part of everyday life.  Carbon Advice Group has agreements with over a thousand of these Carbon Partners since its launch earlier this year and has recently launched a two minute video that explains how the website works.

The Company is able to promote this vital message by paying the Partner a percentage of the revenues from any carbon offsets bought through their site – “We want to motivate the average person in the street to get online, build their own site and get the message across to everyone they know. Through the creation of a network of Environmental Entrepreneurs, we hope to be able to bring the topic of climate change right to the dinner table and make it an important part of everyone’s lives.” There is no charge for this service.

Carbon Advice Group Plc has set out to show individuals and businesses how to reduce their carbon footprint and offset what remains. Carbon Advice Group’s carbon calculators have been designed to be as accurate as possible and use data provided by internationally certified bodies including the UK Government agency DEFRA. The Company only provides Carbon Credits that meet stringent international standards.
