Dec. 1, 2009 - PRLog -- Michael wrote "The Grip Book" back in 1988. It has been in print for over 21 years. It was the first and only book published on the art of how to become a motion picture studio grip. It is so popular the world over, it has been dubbed as the Grip's Bible on www.amazon.com reviews.

His latest book, titled, " Dollies, Cranes, and Camera Heads" is a practical guide to the latest studio mobile platform equipment used daily.  

•   It will be reviewed in the World Famous “American Cinematographer Magazine” in January of 2010 by Jim Hemphill.
•   It has been sent to “Below the line” newspaper for review by Patrick Graham, Publisher.

It is illustrated with photographs, line drawings, and charts of the capabilities of each piece of equipment. It is also filled with "T. O. T's (Tricks of the trade.) With this book, film crews, the world over can locate the right equipment for the job faster/easier, saving time and money.
