Nov. 30, 2009 - PRLog -- Las Vegas, NV——Event marketer, Deborah Porter is adamant that her creative party ideas which appear in the January/February 2010 issue of Bridal Guide magazine, are proof that the love for celebrations still prevails in these economic times; but she cautions suppliers that people, particularly brides, continue to look for bargains.  Porter, CEO and founder of Creativity Made Fresh, a boutique event marketing agency, created a list of top eight fabulous, inexpensive party ideas for the holidays as well as bachelorette girls’ night out that most people probably haven’t considered.  “While party planning isn’t really our core business, there’s an increase in people wanting to tap into our imagination,” she says.  For example, Porter says she is seeing a rise in wedding and charity partnerships that encourages donations from suppliers, the bridal party or often the entire guest list. Even businesses are opting out of expensive company parties this year in favor of smaller, less-is-more events. Creativity Made Fresh focuses on incorporating events and building digital brand experiences for businesses who want to increase their viral marketing and advertising results.

From hand-made décor, to shared banquets to intimate unique venues, the trend for more connected entertaining will continue to grow in 2010 as imagination and ‘the experience’ trumps finance. However, Porter believes that providing an entertainment experience on a budget doesn’t have to lack flair or flamboyance.  She advised businesses, hostesses and brides alike to get creative and be open in their thinking; learn to incorporate surprises that engage guests’ senses and emotions and allow for personal connections. “I believe that imaginative experiences are the new currency,” she said. Porter, who has been  producing and marketing corporate events for almost 20 years, also shares event industry trends in the fall 2009 publication of Southwest Meetings + Events, and was featured along with her daughter, Emika Porter, in Shepreneur magazine in Spring 2009.  In 2008, her business and political insights represented the state of Nevada on the Purplestates.tv national blog as seen on CNN.

Creativity Made Fresh, located in Las Vegas, was founded by Porter almost two years ago.
