New Pet Blog Shares Opinions - Expert and otherwise

Nov. 25, 2009 - PRLog -- If you have a pet, you want to know about this new blog.  From veterinarians to business owners to pet lovers themselves, you will find all kinds of  opinions - expert and otherwise - featured on the new Healthy Pet Solutions blog by Healthy Pet Solutions owner Erik Johnson.  The blog shows up at http://blog.pet-helper.com .

Focusing on all things pet related, the Pet-Helper blog emphasizes what contributors around the country have to say on any given topic.  A recent post, for example, displays tips from about 50 contributors on keeping your pet healthy and happy when you have to be away from home. With its first shout out November 15, the new blog is scheduled to post most weekdays.

Blogger Erik Johnson says his intent is to give others a place to share their ideas about the many facets of pet ownership.  “I don’t have a lock on all the knowledge about pets - but by asking the right questions perhaps I can get a dialogue going with the right people,” Johnson explains.  

Upcoming blog posts will discuss the pain of losing a dog to cancer,  backyard dangers for pets, baby/pet introductions, and what it takes to travel comfortably with your canine buddy, Johnson says.  

Pet-Helper posts can turn to the lighthearted side of pet ownership, as well.  Ministers will be sharing funny stories of dogs at weddings and pet owners are sharing pictures of the antics of their favorite dog.  Many of the blogs will feature issues Johnson has faced as a dog owner himself.

“My dogs are an important part of my life, so I know what it feels like to be turned away from a hotel because I won’t leave my dog outside, and how hard it can be to lose a dog from a devastating illness," the Healthy Pet Solutions (http://www.pet-helper.com) owner reports.  "I want all of us to have a place to talk about how our pets impact our lives and how we can make life better for the animals we love,” Johnson explains.
