-- Burnett’s Package Express announces that the company will help bring a little holiday cheer to Houston families by offering to pick up donations of canned goods and unwrapped toys during the months of November and December when a delivery or courier order is placed with the company. Along with the item(s) prepared for delivery, customers may give their donations to Burnett’s drivers who will deliver the items through December 31, 2009. The canned food items will go to the Houston Food Bank and the toys will go to Aldine Youth. There is a 500 pound limit per delivery and a 10% discount will be given to those donating.
“Our success is driven by our customers and our dedication to our customers and our community has played an integral part in our growth,” says Burnett Jackson, CEO and Founder. “We realize that although many people want to donate to charitable causes, they often can’t find the time or coordinate their giving efforts so we want to provide an outlet to encourage and support charitable giving. Now more than ever, the need to give is urgent.”
