Nov. 17, 2009 - PRLog -- Tickets to Southwest Florida’s premier holiday celebration are now on sale. “Tux & Trees” gala tickets are available for purchase online (http://www.tuxandtrees.com) and over the telephone.  The glamorous black-tie holiday affair will be hosted Friday, December 4th, 2009 at the historic Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center in the Fort Myers River District.

The Tux & Trees gala (http://www.tuxandtrees.com) is the highlight of the week-long “Festival of Trees” celebration, and is the signature fundraising event of the Southwest Florida Goodwill Foundation.

Beautifully decorated holiday trees will be auctioned at the Tux & Trees gala to raise money for Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida.  This year’s black-tie celebration will be hosted by Stacey Adams, the co-anchor of “WINK News at 10 on 6TV” and “WINK News at 11.”  Auction duties will be handled by event co-host Scott Robertson, one of Florida’s top fundraising auctioneers.

The evening will also feature a silent auction with lavishly decorated wreaths and other extravagant items.  Guests can bid on items like Norman Love Chocolates, tickets to the Naples Philharmonic, golf at Magnolia Landing, a stay at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point, and dinner prepared at your home by the Morgan House Restaurant.  Gift certificates for many local restaurants and attractions will also be available.

In the first two years of the Tux and Trees Gala, the event has raised nearly $100,000 to support Goodwill’s mission of helping people with disabilities and other disadvantages overcome their barriers to employment and independence.

Tickets for the Tux and Trees gala are $100 per person, and include entertainment, complimentary valet parking service, wine, and hors d’oeuvres.  Call (866) 995-2106 ext. 249 or visit http://www.tuxandtrees.com to purchase tickets to the affair.
