Suppliers Sought for Zero Energy HVAC Platinum LEED Home Community in Elizabeth, CO

Denver, Colorado – Information from suppliers and marketing partners is being requested for a 110 home zero energy HVAC Platinum LEED Home community development, Wild Pointe Ranch, on schedule to break ground in December 2009.
 
Nov. 16, 2009 - PRLog -- The developer, C&A Companies, and systems engineer, Energy Environmental Corporation, are seeking partnerships and information pertaining to unique eco-friendly building materials and products which can contribute to the sustainability of the project. Eligible partners include national and international organizations, suppliers, distributors, trade associations, and non profit organizations. The following four partner categories are available for participation in this event:  

1)   National/International organizations seeking exposure for green, energy and environmental branding directly to consumers;
2)   National/International businesses providing products to the building trades;
3)   Niche suppliers of renewable energy and/or sustainable product and services; and
4)   Distributors/promoters of products and services for the Wild Pointe Ranch.  This category includes mass transit, community services (profit and non-profit), trade organizations, financing, real estate development, and construction related services.

The Wild Pointe Ranch Reserve will be USGBC LEED for Homes Platinum certified and will include the latest energy efficiency, indoor air quality, reduced water usage, and sustainable technology, products, and best practices. As the largest sustainable development of its kind in the United States, Wild Pointe Ranch will be a state and national icon for the best practices of sustainable construction and home energy efficiency. The low energy home design, ultra tight building envelope, and advanced integrated renewable HVAC design and technologies to be implemented in these homes present a new level for building science and set a viable standard for low and net zero energy residential buildings.  

An ENERGY freedom Festival of Homes is being organized for the fall of 2010 as an open house event featuring the first six model homes completed.  The event will be focused on providing to the public education and information about the affordability, design, building envelope, sustainable products, and integrated renewable energy systems. This will be the first homes parade with all LEED Platinum certified homes and net zero energy consumption for HVAC and DHW.  Its focus on sustainability, along with a marketing budget exceeding $500,000, is expected to draw expansive local and national media coverage.
