Hair extensions can be synthetic or real human hair extensions. Of course, human hair extensions are much more expensive. the last one is the one I highly recommend for several reasons, if you change your hair color, you can also change the hair color extensions, if changing the hair texture is the case, then you can also straight or add waves to your hair extensions. Keep in mind that the hair extension that you are having should be reusable one.
The question what's left is, which are the best hair extensions?, well the answer is very specific, and it will be the one that will not damage your natural hair.
If your intention is to add more hair to your hair, not to lose the natural hair you have with an attached one…so, safe hair extensions is the main key.
I’ve worked with all kind of hair extensions available in the market. In my opinion no one has proven to be safe enough, and most of them cause damage from mild to serious. As a responsible professional and to experiment with my client’s hair is not my desired.
My research for the perfect hair addition began back in 1984, when hair extension was a product almost inexistent. Then I was using the clients own hair and hair obtained in my trips to Europe to put them together in small strands and sew it into the client, when volume or length was needed. It was not very comfortable, but at least the result was good enough but not sufficient to satisfy my requirements, until I was able to find the perfect hair extension that will not damage the client’s natural hair that will add length or merely volume to thinning short hair people. Between the several hair extensions in the market, are extensions that can be woven, sewn into the strips made in your hair or glued. Personally I am very enthusiastic with clip in hair extensions; also they are the simplest option to the more complex hair wefts that are applied by professionals.
Also, clip in hair extensions should be made of real human hair, for same reasons as with reusable hair extensions, the hair texture and the hair color of the clip in hair extension can only be changed if they are made of real human hair. But, make sure that it is 100% real human hair to get the best product for your money.
