AT&T Freedom: Software Update to Unlock iPhone 3GS 3.1.2 Handsets is Released

Apple Inc. released iPhone version 3.1.2 on September 9th, 2009. This set the awkward shaped ball attempting to roll for consumers without access to AT&T, as they had the handset, but no network with which to use it. AT&T is the exclusive provider for iPhones in the US and the only way for customers to use another network is to purchase software that can unlock iPhone 3GS handsets. Luckily for them, iPhone Unlocking Solutions have already released a software update to match Apple's new 3.1.2 version.

AT&T remains the exclusive iPhone network, so we are allowing customers to unlock iPhone 3G models, instead of having to purchase a different phone altogether.”

San Diegan company iPhone Unlocking Solutions enjoyed the 1-million-customers milestone not long after they released their very first version of the iPhone unlocking software. Since they launched in 2005 the company have been releasing software updates in the same week as Apple release their iPhone versions, giving customers almost instant access to the service many of them need to use. With a download time of between 30 minutes and one hour, customers without AT&T don't see much delay in their services, and can still enjoy the benefits they got from their existing network provider.

Four years after the establishment of their company, iPhone Unlocking Solutions have launched a new software update that allows iPhone users to unlock iPhone 3GS 3.1.2 models. This means that consumers in remote areas can purchase the latest iPhone version without worrying about their AT&T connectivity (or lack thereof).
