Nov. 10, 2009 - PRLog -- A drama took place this morning (Tuesday) at the entrance to the Knesset parking lot. A man recently evicted from his home due to his severe economic distress, came to the Knesset parking lot entrance and announced that he intends to blow up his car filled with gas canisters.

Knesset security guards managed to block his entrance into the parking lot. Meanwhile, an officer told the Knesset security to close all entrances and exits to the building.

Before the police arrived, security guards began to negotiate with the driver, and within a few minutes managed to overcome him, even before the firemen, police and Magen David Adom arrived.

Preliminary investigation of the man revealed that he recently fell into severe financial distress, and as a result he and his family were evicted from their apartment in Jerusalem.
