Chief of Staff: Hezbollah has Missile Range of 300 KM

Chief of Staff General Gabi Ashkenazi presented alarming data today at a meeting of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee about Hezbollah’s missiles with a range of 325 km (200 miles).

Nov. 10, 2009 - PRLog -- Chief of Staff General Gabi Ashkenazi said Hezbollah has tens of thousands of rockets aimed at Israel. According to Chief of Staff, some of the missiles have a range of 300 km (185 miles), and some of them have a further range of 325 km (200 miles).

During the discussion in the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee the Chief of Staff said that the only way to bring internal change in Iran is if it is pushed harder by the countries of the world.

"Iran on the one hand is very extreme, but the other hand, you can’t say that it is an irrational country," said the Chief of Staff.

Ashkenazi participated in the Committee meeting that took place today (Tuesday) to discuss an IDF investigation after "Operation Cast Lead.”
