Nov. 6, 2009 - PRLog -- Veterinary Bioscience Institute, a leading provider of biosurgical and biomedical education services, announced today that it will offer an online media library beginning November 1st, 2009. Based in Harleysville, Pennsylvania, the Veterinary Bioscience Institute provides state of the art online and internationally mobile rodent surgical and biomethodology training to the biomedical community. "This Media Library, in addition to the online courses we had introduced in 2008, demonstrates our continued commitment to providing high-quality, innovative, and easily accessible training options for a globally dispersed biomedical community," said Szczepan Baran, chief academic officer of the Veterinary Bioscience Institute. "Education is an asset; something that can enrich our lives on a personal and professional level. Online videos in such fields as rodent surgery, anesthesia and analgesia are relevant to the practices, theories and skill sets of today's biomedical workplace. We believe that by offering such an asset to our community, we play an important part in its future success," Baran added. The Media Library was designed to provide continual access to videos from all of VBI’s online courses to be used as a reference and review tool as well as to assist participants in the preparation for their certification exams. The media library enhances registrants' understanding of current and up-to-date pre, intra- and post-surgical patient care. VBI’s library contains over 100 videos, and is constantly expanding.
