Nov. 4, 2009 - PRLog -- Mr. Tito Batista, president of Black Rose Productions, Inc., in collaboration with Gary Smith, and the SPLASH organization is hoping to raise awareness and interest in the North Shore of Long Island, for similar chapters in Cold Spring Harbor, NY.  It is important that we all contribute to keeping our environment clean, and to educate young and old residents to preserve our wetlands and our wildlife.

This afternoon, Mr. Batista and his executive assistant, Ashley Oates, spoke to Helen Crosson, director of the Cold Spring Harbor Library and Environmental Center about SPLASH, and she directly referred us to Patricia Akin, in charge of Friends of the Bay in Oyster Bay, NY.  Friends of the Bay is a similar organization, working on the clean up and preservation of the local bay areas.

Mr. Batista is hoping that with the assistance of this organization, we are hoping to have our own SPLASH chapter in Cold Spring Harbor and other local areas.
