-- InterfaithFamily.com, a non-profit organization that provides resources and services for interfaith families exploring Jewish life, has announced its Refer-a-Friend promotion to bring attention to the Jewish clergy options couples have when planning interfaith weddings.
Thousands of interfaith couples have used InterfaithFamily.com’
s Officiation Referral Service to find a rabbi or cantor to officiate at their wedding. The service is free, and InterfaithFamily.com, which has a network of more than 300 rabbis and cantors throughout the U.S. and Canada who officiate at interfaith weddings, will do its best to find a member of the Jewish clergy who can officiate at each interfaith ceremony.
Every couple who submits a referral request through December 31, 2009 will be entered to win a $500 American Express gift card – that's quite a wedding present to start their new lives together.
There is an additional way to participate. Friends who recommend engaged interfaith couples to InterfaithFamily.com’
s Officiation Referral Service, have a chance of winning, too. Couples just have to list the name of their friend in the "Referred By" field on the form. As an added incentive, the engaged couple friend is entered to win a second time.
The promotion runs through Dec. 31. For information on how to enter, please visit http://www.interfaithfamily.com/weddings
