Nov. 2, 2009 - PRLog -- Beacon Hill, Inc. a New York software consultancy released today its Quick Note application as Open Source.

Quick Note is a single-purpose emailer for remote messaging to a single point.

"The reason we built Quick Note in the first place was to be able to quickly and very simply send ourselves messages from any machine with an Internet connection.", said Brad Lucas, President of Beacon Hill, Inc.

The complete system is downloadable and includes the full source code for inspection and customization. A run time is included in the download so the system can be tried without having to rebuild.

Those users interested in building Quick Note should be familiar with Ant, Java and Spring.
