New Green Cleaning Service Purchased By Local Entrepreneur

Oct. 30, 2009 - PRLog -- CARY, NC  Darrick Seconi has recently become a franchise owner for EcoMaids, a home and business cleaning service which uses only green and environmentally safe products.

“I’m very excited to have acquired such a wonderful business,” says Mr. Seconi, a Cary-area resident.  “It’s essential for people in the Triangle to have a choice in how they have their homes and businesses cleaned – a choice that provides the highest quality cleaning service possible while using products that keep your living and work spaces naturally healthy and sparkling clean.”
Mr. Seconi points to current statistics that show how much the conventional cleaning industry consumes each year:
•   8 billion pounds of chemicals that are hazardous to your health and to the environment
•   4.5 billion pounds of janitorial paper products, consuming tens of millions of trees
•   1 billion pounds of tools and equipment, filling 40,000 garbage trucks headed to landfills
“With the right cleaning products and practices, like the ones EcoMaids requires all franchisees to use, every clean room leaves the planet a little nicer in the process,” he says.
Prior to becoming an EcoMaids owner, Mr. Seconi worked as a Research Scientist for more than 10 years. As an EcoMaid franchisee, Mr. Seconi will provide cleaning services throughout the Raleigh area.
