Oct. 30, 2009 - PRLog -- Zenagen Shampoo announced Roger Decker of Marquette University as the winner of its 2009 Mustache Photo Contest. The hair loss prevention shampoo company teamed up with The American Mustache Institute to provide a trip for 2 to attend the world's largest mustache party "Stache Bash 2009" in St. Louis MO. The grand prize winner was selected from a large group of entries for his mustached work out photo. The photo contest was a week long competition in which people submitted their best fake or real mustached themed picture to Zenagen's website, facebook page, and picture messaging line.

The Zenagen mustache contest and "Stache Bash 2009 featuring John Oates" was featured numerous college newspapers across the country including Penn State Univeristy, Texas A&M University, and UNC.

"Stache Bash 2009" is considered to be the largest mustached themed party in the world. It was created by the American Mustache Institute to benefit Challenger Baseball, a charity baseball league for disabled children and adults in St. Louis Missouri. The event is sponsored by Budweiser and Quicken and is expected to have over 2000 people. Heading the event is John Oates from the popular 80's band "Hall and Oates" who have sold more than 60 million albums.

"Stache Bash 2009 featuring John Oates" kicks off at the Orpheum Theater in downtown St. Louis on 7:30 October 30th. Tickets are still available through ticketmaster and all proceeds go to Challenger Baseball. "Zenagen is excited to help awareness of this great even benefiting Challenger Baseball. We are a shampoo that prevents hair loss and wanted to do a funny hair related contest for halloween. We were introduced to the great guys at the American Mustache Institute, it was a natural fit." Said Zenagen spokesman Sam Freeman. The American Mustache Institute has been featured on The Jay Leno Show and The Colbert Report for a study it and Quicken recently published, that found men who have mustaches make more money than their clean shaven counterparts.
