Dia de los Muertos Art Show at HOWL Gallery/Tattoo Ft Myers, FL

Oct. 26, 2009 - PRLog -- FIRST ANNUAL DIA DE LOS MUERTOS GROUP SHOW AT HOWL GALLERY

HOWL Gallery presents the first annual “Dia de los Muertos” group show, featuring works inspired by the Mexican holiday.  The exhibit includes traditional and modern interpretations of the holiday which honors the souls of the dead with the annual remembrance and celebration.  The show will feature nearly 2 dozen regional artists from Fort Myers, Miami, Jacksonville, and Atlanta. Featured artists include N! Satterfield, Matt Lackey, Andy Howl, Heather Clough, Kyle Jackson, Joe Fischer, Edbot, Crissy Penuel, T.C. Dorler, and Gerard Damiano.  

There will be an Artists Reception on Friday, October 30th from 8-10pm; attendees are encouraged to wear black. An Art Walk Reception will be held November 6th from 6-10pm. All ages welcome, light refreshments.  Monday, November 2nd, HOWL Gallery will host a special “Drink to the Dead” event from 12-8pm. Guests will be treated to a complimentary beverage while viewing the exhibit.

“Dia de los Muertos” show will be on display with works available for purchase at HOWL Gallery from October 30th until December 2nd, during normal business hours.  Private showings available by appointment.
