Las Vegas, NV: The coolest canines in town are joining the pack for the hippest dog-happening this side of the Strip! Camp Bow Wow Las Vegas invites friends and neighbors to join them for some tail-waggin’ fun at their Grand Opening Shindig on Saturday, October 24 from 10am to 3pm. The upscale doggy day and overnight Camp at 5175 S. Valley View Boulevard, has a planned a dog-gone-wild good time for the entire family: human and canine. Admission is free.

“We’re celebrating our grand opening Vegas-style,” said Chad Rodrigues, co-owner and Top Dog of Camp Bow Wow Las Vegas. “At Camp Bow Wow, it’s all about the dogs so we’ve planned festivities they’ll be diggin’ right along with their parents. So bring your dogs down for the party even if he hasn’t had his Camp Bow Wow interview yet. He’ll just have to remain leashed while you’re here. Pups who have passed their interview will be invited to run with the pack in our play yards. We’ll have plenty of Camp Counselors on hand to watch leashed pups while their parents tour our facilities.” The first 50 people to book interviews during the Shindig will receive a special doggy treat bag, valued at $35 each.

Meet local canine celebrity, Coco the Love Dog and her brother Kirby, who’ll be making a personal appearance along with their trainer. “Coco and Kirby are very special pups,” said Mari Rodrigues, co-owner and Top Dog of Camp Bow Wow Las Vegas. “It’s an honor to have them at our event. Coco is nationally known for her work as a therapy dog. She’s brought joy to so many people through her loving, responsive personality even though she’s got special needs herself: she’s an insulin-dependent diabetic with double cataracts and severe allergies. Despite all of that, she’s always ready to go to work comforting others. She’s an amazing character.”

The guest list doesn’t stop there. What would a party in Vegas be without ear-perking attractions? Is your pup a Pisces? Always gentle and responsive to your moods; or a Leo, leader of the pack. Consult with the pet astrologer to have your pup’s chart done. Make a memory with a free pup-trait; register for door prizes and more while your children enjoy doggy-inspired art activities and games; and your pup makes a Dog Paw Print and joins in all the puppy games. Hungry humans and their canine companions can satisfy their cravings with complimentary Shindig treats.

Have a dirty dog? Bring him on down to the WOOF N’ WASH for a shampoo and some treats. At only $20 per pup, it’s a true bark-gain. With all proceeds to be donated to the Cesar and Ilusion Millan Foundation in support of their “Spay and Neuter is Nothing to Whisper About” campaign.
