Antique Orange Blogspot Intend to be the Premier Blog for All of Florida

Oct. 21, 2009 - PRLog -- Orlando, FL -- Orlando, as well as the whole state of Florida, will have to take notice of a new exciting blog aptly titled,  AntiqueOrange.com.  This Florida based blog intends to showcase the talents found here in the orange state in regards to underground fashion, filmmaking, events, musicians, arts, and of course the occasional gossip.  

AntiqueOrange.com went live on the internet on September 19, 2009 and was founded by Florida native Yakira Baruch, whose desire to start a blog of her own was fueled by her dismay of the constant coverage of celebrities based in New York and Los Angeles.  “I feel that Florida has such a rich tapestry of talent that rarely gets notice by mainstream America and I know AntiqueOrange.com will encourage interest in this state as well change the perception of Florida of just being a state of Mickey Mouse and home to the geriatric community.”

Orlando and Florida on a whole, is growing in respects to the events, the arts, and the music scene that are being cultivated here, and AntiqueOrange.com wants to be a part and help with the creative explosion that is burgeoning throughout Florida.

Unlike most blogs where commentators will see a post by a blogger and comment, AntiqueOrange.com offers a unique experience for its readers, by also incorporating a social network aspect of the blog where visitors can post their own blogs on their own page, post their pictures, and network with other members.  In the short amount of time, the interest garnered for Ms. Baruch’s site has exploded as members constantly contact her through her Myspace, Facebook and Twitter.  

Although excited and stunned by the warm reception that her blog has made on the blogosphere, Ms. Baruch is also very much aware how starved the state of Florida is for some outlet to promote the creative people that dwell in the Sunshine State.  The sky is the limit with how far AntiqueOrange.com will reach, but there is no doubt that this new media entity will be an arts, musical, fashion savvy, and cultural force to be reckoned with due to the passion and the tenacity of its founder, “Everything I blog about reflects my interest and my versatility and personality, Florida Rocks!,” and her members would definitely agree.
